My friend stole my shorts how do i get them back!?

ok so recently i invited my friend to come over my house n sleepover at sku she aslwayz jokes around how shes gunna steal my clothes cuz i have nice stuff n evrybody nos shes joking but i now i dont think the same anymore. so one day she slept over my house n i didnt notice she stole anything till moday i went to sku n she waz wearing my shorts!! i coudnt believe i asked her if those were my shorts and she lied n told me no n it bothers me so much to see her wear it if she had asked to burrow it i wud have let here but but she stole them n im so upset becuz i love those shorts and ill nvr see them again i dont wanna confront her again becuz shell get mad at me foa acusing me her of stealing i told my best fren n she sed she stole her sandals!! i wanna be her fren and i wanna be able to trust her but now im scared to invite her over my house becuz she might steal sumthing else plzzzz help me!!
