Which hurts more BBs or paint?

do paint hurt more than BBs because ive played BB tag with my friend one time [not recommended haha] and we were pumpin our guns up to like 10 or 20 and it hurt but & we were bleeding & stuf..well i was doing most of the bleeding lol..anyway my friends want me to go play paintball but i wasnt sure if i should cause ive heard it hurts & stuff so back to my question..which hurts more BBs or paint?
