Do you think I should learn to drive?

I'm a New Yorker but travel to Florida about twice a year and I find it hard to go anywhere without a car in Florida, which isn't the case when I'm in the city. Should I learn how to drive for Florida's sakes or just keep to the subway and avoid all the NYC crazed road rage *******?
