My car window keeps getting stuck?

I have a '96 Monte Carlo with electric windows. When I first start my car the window will not go all the way down. If I turn it off and wait a while it will go down a little further or sometimes if I drive for a few miles it will work. Then when I go to put the window up I must do the same thing again. Then there are other times that it works normally. When I push the on I can here it click but no movement. I checked the fuses and relays which are fine and the other window works perfectly. I'm not sure if it is a motor problem, if the track needs lubricant, or if it could be an alternator getting ready to go . Any ideas?
